   3/22/07  - Exterior sign gained landlord approval and is being constructed by
                       Bay Area Signs in Gibsonton.  We love to support our local businesses.     

   4/2/07  -  We are in the permitting process. We are optimistic that we will receive   
                      our permits this upcoming week. Depending on permitting the Pre-sale 
                      and Grand opening may be delayed by one week.

   4/5/07  -  Placed all orders for our printed document needs from our friends
                      at M&M Printing -The Observer News, right here in Ruskin.

   4/6/07  -   Due to the overwhelming response we have instituted a Pre-Sale
                       Member Reservation Program.  Just email us with how many spaces
                       you would like reserved along with your contact information for your
                       no obligations Membership Reservation.  Check out the "Membership"
                       page for details.

   4/9/07  -  SBA is requiring flood insurance on content.  No probem, we called 
                      Victor Pistone @ Apollo Beach Allstate.   A huge thank you to Nancy 
                      our Allstate agent who got us a fabulous rate.  Still no word on the
                      permits, therefore Pre-sale date has been rescheduled to start on 
                      Monday April 23.

   4/13/07 -  The landlord has begun construction or shall we say demolition on the
                       back portion of unit 6114.  The walls are coming down!  Take a look at
                       the 3D floorplan  - the large open area is comprised of units 6110 and 
                       6112 ( the 2 blue storefronts ) the area being demolished is the
                       "L" shape located in the back portion of unit 6114. 
                       Finally, some construction on-site.

   4/16/07 -  The Fire Marshall has given us the "green light."  The permitting is
                        now in the hands of the reviewer in the building department. 
                        Mike Murphy our General Contractor anticipates receiving our
                        permits this week.

   4/25/07 -   Our permits have come through we should have them in hand
                        by Monday April 30th.  Mike Murphy our general contractor is
                        lining up the demolition of the center wall for next week.  Come by
                        and check out the work being done.

   





 

    5/3/07   -   Demolition has begun! 

    5/4/07  -    The demolition crew worked extremely fast.  They finished today                
                         putting us ahead of schedule.

    5/7/07   -   A/C for suspended ceiling has been demolished to make way                      
                         for our exposed open ceilings.

    5/8/07  -    Electrical installations have begun.                                                                

    5/9/07  -    Troughs being cut in the concrete slab for plumbing
                          rough-in.

    5/10/07  -  All plumbing has been roughed in and passed inspection.

    5/11/07  -   The exterior sign was installed today by Bay Area Signs. The 
                          framing for the interior walls  has begun.  
   
    5/14/07  -  Our electrical rough in passed inspection.  The offiice
                         tanning, and bathrooms are being framed.

    5/16/07  -  Exterior Sign passed inspection.

    5/18/07 -   A/C has been finished.

    5/19/07 -   All pre-wiring for security system cameras, sound system,
                         and CCTV complete.

    5/22/07 -  Interior finishes selected.  Concrete floor stain samples.

    5/29/07 -  Passed framing inspection.  Sheetrock goes up.

 

 





   

     6/1/07  -  Sheetrock is finished.

    6/8/07  -  Sheetrock mud and taped along with the textured finish was
                       completed today.

    6/9/07  -  The floors are being stained by local company Turner Coastal Concrete. 
                       Contact Shannon at 813*541*9167 for more information. They specialize      
                       in interior and exterior concrete finishes.  See pictures of our floors.                       

    6/11/07 - The ceilings are being painted with a material called dryfall.  It
                       is a paint and insulation product that will help keep our energy costs
                       down.

    6/14/07  - Just when things are looking great, the painting is almost complete
                        the painters fall through the office ceiling.

    6/15/07  -  Sheetrock repairs.  Rubber flooring is delivered.  Everything must
                         be complete by the 19th as our equipment is being delivered.

   6/18/07  -   One of our project supervisors walked off the job.  The floor installation
                         crew is on-site and we are still moving forward.

    6/19/07  -  The rubber floors take our flooring crew 5 hours to clean.  They have worked
                         straight through the night without stopping knowing that the equipment
                         is being delivered.  It becomes clear why the supervisor walked off the job. 
                         Equipment is delivered but just left on-site, it is not installed.

    6/20/07  - Tanning beds and vending machines are delivered.  Equipment is scheduled
                         for installation on Friday.

    6/21/07  -  Mirrors are hung, security installed, touch up paint complete. Fast Signs of Brandon
                         hangs all door and wall vinyl.  We have electricity and phones.

    6/25/07  - Now for inspections....

    6/28/07  - We have passed all inspections, the Building final, even the Fire Marshall
                        all of them save one....
                        The plumbing inspection was failed due to the ADA seat requirement 
                        which we have on-site but are having difficulties installing due to the 
                        ceramic tile.  This will delay us, as inspectors do not work on Fridays.  
                        Therefore we are forced to wait until Monday for that final.  We anticipate
                        holding the Member's Open House Monday July 2nd 6 pm - till.  We will
                        open to the Public on July 3rd.

 





7/3/07 - We received our Certificate of Occupancy today, Members are welcome to begin using the facility.

We wanted to extend a warm welcome to all of our members and to thank everyone for their cooperation and patience
during the hectic construction process.
